Arlene and Jeff , epi15

When they left the suite a few minutes later, they saw Melissa at the far end of the hall. She seemed to do a double take, then turned and rushed around the corner, probably heading for the kitchen. A little later, when they walked through the door, she was already setting out two more plates.
Jeff pulled Ann tighter against him and they stopped just inside the kitchen. I know Ann is blushing. Damn, I thought I was too old to blush, but my face feels like it's on fire. Everyone was seated at the table as he locked eyes with his wife, then slow-winked at her. The instant grin on her face was a welcome sight.

"What's the matter you two?" Diana asked, the grin getting bigger. Looking at Jeff, she asked, "Getting too old to take care of one little female?"
"Well, I, uh..." he said, intelligently.
Ann looked at him, took pity, and came to his rescue. "No, he did his job alright. Might have even done it a little too well, I guess. I'm broken," she said. She had meant to tease and keep the mood light, but her voice cracked, and she had to fight to keep her lip from quivering. She shut up before she started crying.
Diana glared at her husband as she shot up from the table to come and take Ann's hand. Seeing the look, Ann said, "No, no, Mrs. Matthews, uh, Diana, Jeff was very gentle. It was me. I'm little, I guess, and I kinda of had a ... well, my hymen didn't give up very easily."
Ann's eyes were now brimming with unshed tears, and everybody had gathered around voicing sympathy and wanting to know what happened. Jeff just wanted to be somewhere else, but Ann suddenly turned around, grabbed him and buried her head in his chest. "I've waited for this forever, and you let me make love to your husband, and now I can't even doanything," she almost sobbed to Diana.
Realization dawned on Diana; that was what her husband was trying to mouth to her. Ann's time was not up, but she could not make love. No wonder the poor girl was so upset, she thought. "Ann, a lot of women are too sore to make love the morning after. That's no problem. In a couple of days you will be well, and you two can take up where you left off. I'm not going to hold you to this one day, silly. Remember what I told you before?"
Turning Ann gently away from Jeff, Diana continued. "Now let's get you in the hot tub. I have a couple of pain pills left over from when I broke my ankle. We'll give Laura a call just to make sure she doesn't have any objections to the medicine. In no time you will feel better."
In what seemed like only seconds, Jeff was left alone in the kitchen. A few minutes later, as he was checking out what was on the table, Arlene came back into the kitchen. "Darn it, Dad. I told you to make her walk funny, not break her."
Jeff started to say something in his defense, when he noticed the smirk on Arlene's face. "You know I was gentle with her, don't you?"
"Yeah, Dad. We know. But I just had to get a rise out of you. But what happened? Why is she so sore? I know Jack isn't as big as you, but I was only a little sore the next day. She kept saying she had an 'armor-plated hymen, ' or something like that. Was it really that hard to break?"
"Honey, I don't know that we should be discussing this without Ann. It should be up to her to tell, or not tell, what happened."
"Dad. She is telling. Mom just sent me back in here to fix your breakfast, and I didn't get to hear all of it. We all helped in this. Remember? Now, what happened to Ann?"
Melissa rushed in, grabbed a plate, two cinnamon rolls, and a glass of milk. "Ann is hungry," she said, as she rushed back out.
Shrugging, Jeff said, "Nothing happened, Sweetheart. Her hymen must have been thicker than most. She probably should have had it clipped by a doctor. But she only has one more week out here. When she couldn't break her cherry sitting on me, she had me get on top and insisted that I just ram on through it. Damn, saying it makes me sound like I'm some kind of monster. I knew it was going to hurt her, but she was becoming very upset. Shit. I have had exactly two women in my life before Ann. I'm no authority on hymen removal. I tried my best not to hurt her," he finished lamely.
Hugging her father, Arlene smiled up at him and said, "I think if she didn't have her going-home-time hanging over her, she would have just said she was too sore to do anything for a day or two, and that would have been it. One of the girls at school said she couldn't use the bathroom for three days without hurting. But she didn't seem to be too upset about it. Ann is just so much in love with you that she wants to make love as much as she can before she has to go home. Mom will take care of her."
Jeff took down a cup and poured himself coffee. Sitting at the table, he continued, "She didn't seem too upset until we came in here, then everyone seemed so startled to see us. I guess it just got to her. Hell, I don't know what to do. I feel like I have screwed up somewhere, but I did my dead level best to make love to her the best I knew how. And I was gentle, I swear I was."
Arlene cracked four eggs into a bowl to scramble them. "You're making that mountain out of the mole hill you used to tease me about." Grinning at him, her eyes twinkling as she stirred the eggs and poured them into the skillet, she added, "Her pussy is sore. Well, maybe a lot sore, but she will be fine in a couple of days. Then you can fuck her brains out and send her home with a pussy full of come to remind her that she made love with her man."
"I hope you're right. Seeing her so upset isn't what I expected this morning to be like."
Arlene finished his breakfast and set it in front of Jeff. After he ate and had a second cup of coffee, he said, "I think I'll go check on Ann."
"Oh, no you don't. Mom told me to keep you in here. Ann will be embarrassed if you show up. Right now they will be laughing and joking about it, but you will get Ann upset again if you go in there. Trust me on this," she finished, shushing him with her fingertips on his mouth, then kissing him. "Ann isn't the only one who loves you."
They walked to the living room where Arlene pushed him into a chair, then sat on his lap and snuggled against his chest. "Mom and I are very proud of you, you know."
I do not, repeat not, understand women. Mentally shrugging, Jeff just shut up and kissed her. They were about to drift off to sleep when Diana found them.
Leaning over to kiss her husband, she said, "We soaked her in the hot tub, then used an applicator of cream that should help the swelling. Laura wasn't at work, and she didn't answer her cell or home phone, either, so I gave Ann half of one of my pain tablets, anyway. It knocked her on her ass. She's sound asleep on our bed."
"Baby, I really did try to be gentle with her. I..."
"Oh, shut up, you big lug. We all know that. And we know what the real matter is. She's so much in love with you, and she hates leaving so much. But I'm going to work on that. Now, I want to hear your version of this 'armor-plated hymen' Ann keeps grousing about."
"It really was," Jeff started. "I've got a blister on the head of my dick..."
"You've got a what?" Diana laughed. "I've got to see this," she said, unbuckling Jeff's belt and pulling his jeans down just as Melissa and Jennie walked in the door. Jeff grabbed at his pants, but it was too late. Diana already had his dick in her hands and was inspecting the head when the girls realized what was going on, and gasped.
By then, Diana was laughing as she showed Arlene the bruised head. Jeff could feel his face tingling, but the sight of the braless titties jiggling as Melissa and Jennie also tried to see his dick, was too much for him. In five seconds, he had a raging hard-on.
"Oh, shit," Melissa said as she eyed his cock.
"Yeah," Jennie said in a whisper.
Jeff was trying to pull his pants and shorts up, but Diana gave the head of his dick a long kiss before allowing him to get his pants back on.
Diana and Arlene were laughing, but Melissa and Jennie just stared at his crotch, and then glancing at each other, grinned also.
"Ah, crap," Jeff sighed, as he picked up the remote and turned on the TV.

Shaking Jeff awake from his impromptu nap in front of the TV, Diana said, "I just got off the phone with Laura." At his vague look, she continued, "Come on Jeff, wake up."
Realizing something was wrong, Jeff sat up in the recliner. Finally, understanding having filtered through his sleep-fogged brain a little, he said, "Okay, I'm back. What's wrong?"
Seeing the look on Jeff's face, Diana realized that he had jumped to the wrong conclusions. Understandable, since she had shaken him awake implying that something was wrong, and indeed there was. "Nothing is wrong with any of us. I just had a long conversation with Laura, and you and I, and I guess Arlene, need to have a family conference."
Jeff's foggy mind finally got it together and remembered that Laura was the leggy brunette with the nice boobs that was Ann's mother, and Diana's best friend. Nice titties run in that family, too.
"She answered her home phone right after you crashed. We've been talking ever since. She's really down Jeff, and she has a right to be. Those assholes that bought out her company fired her as well as every other supervisor in the company. She said they let everyone go that had been with the company for ten years or more, as well.
"Oh, Jeff, she has fought hard for so long to have something, and now that she finally has her head above water for the first time in her life, they fired her. She had already been putting out job feelers since the rumors of the buyout started a couple of weeks ago, but everyone she contacted is downsizing. She is thinking of taking a job in Florida for less than half the salary she has been making, but she isn't even certain that the job is going to come open anytime soon. We have to figure out something to do for her, and I think I have an idea: you need an assistant."
"I what? What do I need an assistant for? I'm not even working. I've got all the pussy I can take care of," he laughed, but he quickly noticed that remark did not go over well. "Seriously, Diana, what could I possibly do with an assistant?"
"I'm not talking about more pussy for you. But I am serious about an assistant. Oh, let me get Arlene, I don't want to have to say all this over again, and she needs to be part of this. She's not a child any longer, and I don't want to make major decisions about our lives without her taking part. I'll be back in a minute."
Jeff started to protest, but Diana was already on the way out of the room. An assistant. What in the hell do I need with an assistant?
A few minutes later, Arlene came in and summoned him to the kitchen. "What's going on?" she asked, her eyes round. "Mom told Jennie and Melissa to check on Ann every few minutes, and to stay out of the kitchen, that we were having a family conference. I'm not in trouble, am I Dad? I swear I didn't do anything."
"No Punkin, you're not in trouble. Just hang on a second. She will tell you what her idea is."
As Jeff and Arlene entered the kitchen, Diana was pouring coffee for them at the small table. As they sat, Diana plopped the grocery pad and pen down, and took a sip of coffee while looking at Arlene. "Do you think you could stand Ann being with us on a permanent basis?" she asked.
Before Arlene could answer, Diana continued, "I need to fill you in on a phone conversation I had with Laura. Then I'll give you my idea of a possible solution. But it will affect all of us, and we need to think about all the consequences."
Repeating what she had told Jeff for Arlene, Diana then drew a line down a page and labeled one column with "PRO" and the other with "CON." Looking at Jeff, she said, "I think my husband needs an assistant. He does not think so, yet." As Jeff started to protest, Diana shushed him. "My husband," she said, looking Jeff in the eye, "is the best thing that has ever happened to me. But, between the military, college, and his making us rich, he was gone so much that I almost got talked into taking a lover." As Jeff frowned, and sat up straighter, she continued, "Not Jack. Oh, it didn't happen. I never even kissed this person, but the point is that you and I were drifting apart."
"But, Diana," Jeff managed before she shushed him, again.
"Just bear with me, Sweetheart. Hopefully this will make more sense to you in a minute. You have been a fine husband. No, a wonderful husband, and you were faithful to me, though I wasn't to you."
Jeff tried to intervene, but she continued, "You were gone far more than you were at home for most of our married life, and to me that is most of my life, and all my adult life. Now we have more money than we will ever spend unless we get into buying yachts and such, like you said before, and I don't think there is any danger of that. But I know you. You have worked your whole life, and you will soon get bored, probably already have, and will start developing your next adaptation of your radar.
"You're building a lab in the basement; the contractor has already started delivering materials. Granted you won't have to go all over to use other labs to develop this piecemeal like you did your last invention, but it is still going to be an awful lot of work. And I just paraphrased what you told me a couple of nights ago.
"You also told me that you got a call from Wainwright while we were out shopping, and you might have to fly back to Saint Louis for a few days of consultations with their R and D department." As, Jeff started to say something, she again, continued, "I know. I know. We knew this was going to happen. And they are going to pay you well for the trips you will have to make. But if you had been able to have an assistant from the beginning, you could probably have sent them, instead. Before, you couldn't have an assistant, or a decent lab, or much of anything else, for that matter. You didn't have the money. Now we do. And you are starting a new project, or soon will. Now is the time to hire that assistant so that she will be in on this from the ground floor."
"She?" Jeff managed, with a grin. "Look, Diana, your intentions are good, but Laura is a programmer, and I'm an electrical engineer. And I minored in physics — actually I wound up with almost enough physics courses for a BS. What do you..."
Diana cut him off. "Jeff, don't you get pompous with me. You have known Laura as long as I have. We have gone to just about every birthday party Ann had, and they came to Arlene's. The girls have spent the night at each other's houses more times than I can remember. I have kept Ann so many times while Laura went to class or worked, or both, that Ann almost seems like my daughter.
"For the last couple of years, the girls have practically lived together. You haven't been around Laura nearly as much as I have, since you were gone so much, but you do know she is as smart as they come — a near-genius at least. She is, or was, in charge of a big IT department, and she got the job by being the best they had to pick from. She didn't get it by lying on her back with her heels pointed at the ceiling. She is probably a better programmer than you are. She, at least, has more experience."
Diana's face was getting red. Arlene had slid down in her chair, and was slowly turning her cup round and round. It was obvious she was not about to get into this conversation.
"Honey, I didn't mean to come across that way. There will be a lot of programming to do, but any assistant that would be of any real use to me would have to be an engineer. I..."
"Jeff, send her to school, or teach her yourself — on the job training and all that. What's the rush? She is the best friend I have ever had. She sounded really down on the phone. Down so much she scares me. She has had to fight all her life. I had you. She didn't have anybody. Now when she can finally start paying her bills off, and give her daughter a decent life, she gets kicked in the teeth by some conglomerate that will probably suck all the money out of the company, while the CEO and his moneygrubbing buddies will make off with millions, and then close the company — or sell it yet again."
Diana suddenly stopped. She picked up her coffee, but had to hold the cup with both hands to still enough of the trembling to drink.
With shaky writing, Diana listed, "My husband home more" on the pro side of the sheet. She also listed, "My friend will have a job" on the next line, with a glare at her husband. "I feel strongly about this," Diana commented.
No, shit, Jeff thought, but he didn't have balls enough to say it aloud.
Diana took another sip of barely warm coffee with a steadier hand, not even noticing that the coffee was no longer hot. "Ann is in love with you," she said to her husband. "Arlene and I can understand that," she continued, glancing at her daughter, who grinned at her. "We happen to be in love with you, too. A few weeks ago, I would not have even considered setting you and Ann up for her first time. But our lives have changed. We have changed. Even though I instigated it, I was extremely jealous of you making love to Arlene, or fucking her. Whatever you want to call it. But I had my choice, lose my husband, or come up with something to get his mind off leaving me. Now, I only feel love when you and Arlene are together — at least, most of the time."
She took a sip of coffee, then looked Jeff in the eye again. "It just seems right. When I thought about what I almost lost, what we almost lost, I just couldn't think about Ann not being able to make love to you, with you. Next, I saw her today when she became so upset because she didn't — couldn't — make love to you for the complete day I gave her. Then I thought about her having to go back home to whatever this would have turned out to be, and without you. Then when I talked to Laura, and heard the dejection and sorrow in her voice because she thought she had let her daughter down, I just couldn't take it."
Jeff glanced at Arlene to see a single tear slowly slide down her cheek. She caught his eye and said, "Dad, there are five full apartments here that I've found, maybe more. I guess they were designed for staff, or some such, but Mrs. Kinsley and Ann could live in one of them, and we would hardly know they were in the building. There is an entrance on that other end, too. Ann is my best friend. As much as we've been together, from little kids on, we have never even had a fight. We could go to school together, and if Mom is willing, you could make love to Ann every now and then. She would be sohappy."
"So you vote, yes, for us hiring Laura to be my assistant, then, huh?"
"You know I do, Dad."
Jeff still didn't think Laura would be much real use to him, but he spun Diana's pad around, took the pen from her, and wrote "HIRED" across the sheet. "Now, can I have some more coffee?" he asked, with a grin.
That got him a teary kiss from Diana, and a titty to suck from Arlene. As he relaxed, Diana said, "Now you have to call her."
"Me? You talked to her before. You call and tell her."
"She's going to be working for you," Diana said, "and I know Laura. She won't take the job if she even thinks it might be charity. You have to convince her you really need her, and you had better mean it. I don't want this to be charity. I meant everything I said. She will be the best assistant you could ever hope for, and she will be loyal.
"Also, you won't have to worry about her stealing your ideas. Come to think of it, maybe we need to start our own company, or corporation, like the accountant said. Write out a contract, so she can't steal your ideas and inventions, so that worry never has to come up. Give her a salary, and maybe some part of the proceeds for incentive. You iron it out with her, but if you don't treat it like a business proposition, she will think it is charity and she'llnix the whole thing."
"So, if she turns me down, it's my fault," Jeff said, half seriously.
"Yes," both women said in unison — dead serious.
Diana handed Jeff the phone as their eyes met. "Call her."
Jeff tried one more time. "Diana, this will mean two more people living in our house from now on, even if they do live in one of the apartments at the other end. We can't send them home if we get tired of them being here. What are you going to do if you walk into the kitchen and find Ann sitting in my lap sticking a titty in my mouth like Arlene just did? You need to think about that. She is young and her hormones are raging, as they say. She may not be content to wait until you tell her that she can make out with me."
"Jeff, I'm not stupid. I have thought about that, and more. Like what if she wants to have your baby?"
Jeff's face blanched, and Diana grinned back at him. "Or she might outgrow her love for you, or get tired of being your third female, and decide to start dating. That might not be much fun for you after she has been around for a while. It is probably hard to not love someone that loves you as much as she seems to. It might be a real kick in the teeth to see her go out with a guy that you know is going to fuck her. Things will just have to develop at their own pace. And I'm not foolish enough to think that everything will be perfect. The three of us have had our bumps — recently, a really major one." Leaning past Arlene, she lightly kissed her husband. "If I didn't think this would work, I would never have suggested it, let alone pushed it. Call Laura, now, please! Right now. I'm scared to wait."
"The number is..." Arlene started.
"I'm not getting senile, yet. Although it will probably come on earlier with all the females that will be around me from now on. Right now, I do still remember the number, though."
"Ha. Ha," Diana said, sarcastically. "Dial the phone and quit stalling."
Laura answered before the phone finished its first ring. When she said hello, Jeff could tell her voice sounded odd. After the initial pleasantries, she said, "Jeff, I really appreciate your being Ann's first. I realize that a lot of guys would have fallen all over themselves to get a teen's cherry, but I know that you, on the other hand, were very reluctant. I just finished talking to Ann, the instant before you called. She gave you rave reviews, and said she was going to 'walk like a duck' for a week. I think that is the happiest I have ever heard my daughter. She said that Diana teased her about worrying that she wouldn't get to make love with you again. I told Ann that Diana has already asked if she could stay another week and that was obviously to let her have more time with you. Do not worry about her being sore, she will get over it."
"Glad to be of help Ma'am," Jeff said, with a leer in his voice.
"You always could make me laugh," she said, doing just that.
"You didn't sound so good when you answered the phone," Jeff stated.
"Yeah, I've called everyone I can think of, trying to get a job. I'm going in tomorrow and sign up with a couple of agencies. But I've already talked with them on the phone, and there just aren't any openings around. The market is flooded because of this takeover, and downsizing. I guess I was hoping someone would call and offer me a job."
"Well, someone did call to offer you a job," Jeff laughed.
"What? I don't understand. No one called."
"And since when am I 'no one?'"
"Jeff Matthews, quit messing with me. Don't tell me that you know where I can get a job. I'll start crying for sure."
"Well, you better get a tissue, because I damn sure know where you can find a job."
"Jeff, where?"
"Right here. I need an assistant. We need to talk in person about this, and you need to see what is going on. We can't do this over the phone, or in just a few minutes. So, we need a conference. If the plane is free, I'll send it for you tomorrow."
"The plane?"
"Yeah," Jeff grinned, getting into it now. "Pack heavy, expect to stay awhile. You won't have fifty people to supervise, or have the prestige that you had with your old job, but I need someone that is sharp. And I also need someone I can trust."
Laura didn't say anything for a moment, then, "Are you talking about the jet that picked up the girls?"
"Yeah. And it has plenty of room for all the luggage you want to bring."
"Jeff, this sounds like you just made up a job for me. I won't take charity from anyone. I pay my own way through this world. You know that."
"Yeah, I know that Laura. And this isn't going to be an easy ride, the job that is, not the plane ride," he said, laughing. "I wouldn't insult you that way. Now start packing. I'll call you back with the schedule as soon as I talk with the pilot."
Jeff handed the phone to Diana while Laura was still sputtering. As his wife started talking to his new employee, he picked up his cup to drink the last cold sip. To his amazement, he was trembling.
Before he could set the cup down, Arlene slammed into him, almost causing him to spill what was left of the coffee, but she had noticed his hand shaking. "Boy, you really got into that, Dad," she said, laughing and crying at the same time, hugging him.
Leaning back so he could see her face, he said, "I guess, I did, at that, Punkin. About halfway through our conversation, I realized that I was veryenthused about having an assistant. And things just kept popping into my head that I could have her do. She can be the one to find and get a lot of the things I need for the lab. She can make arrangements for picking the delicate stuff up that can't be shipped safely. All the incidentals that take up so much time, and had me working twenty hours a day, before. Crap, I can think of a dozen things she can do, even before we get much past the theory stage." His voice trailed off as he contemplated his new project.
Diana was at the other end of the kitchen talking with Laura, pacing back and forth. "Get off that phone," he joked, untangling himself from Arlene. "I need to make arrangements to get the plane out to pick up my new assistant."
