CHANGE OF HEART epi 7 THE END

Victoria could hardly wait to get home, and the drive seemed endless. She jumped into Daniel’s arms as soon as she opened the door.

“I did it,” she said into his neck, “I finally did it.”
“You quit?” He asked in disbelief. Deep down he had wondered if she would ever leave her job.
She told him she had. “You better get used to me hanging around the house,” she said. Her face was lit up with joy.
“I’m so proud of you, Vic,” he told her. He couldn’t remember the last time she had smiled like that. It was wonderful to see his wife so full of happiness.
Victoria began a new painting that night, and it became her favorite. When she looked at the self portrait she thought of her freedom. She felt lucky to be able to do what she loved.
A few months later, she sold her first piece. It didn’t sell for much, but it felt good just the same. Other good things were happening too. Victoria began teaching local kids to paint. What started small soon grew to twenty students.
She knew that her gift was meant to be shared. She understood the importance of helping others achieve their dreams. She believed in the power of following one’s heart.
